Android users the world over may have been left heartbroken when Tin Man Games’s The Warlock of Firetop Mountain launched only on iOS. It might still arrive on this platform, but given the lack of a confirmed release date it looks like it’s going to be a while.

Don’t despair though, as we have good news! Nomad Games of Talisman fame is shortly bringing three Fighting Fantasy gamebooks to Android in one package titled Fighting Fantasy Legends.

It won’t play exactly as you remember though. Fighting Fantasy Legends is more of a card battler than a gamebook, with you selecting cards from a deck to perform actions.

Across the course of your journey, you’ll increase in power by levelling up your dice and collecting more cards, which should give a nice sense of progression.

Also, much like The Warlock of Firetop Mountain before it, Fighting Fantasy Legends displays your character and the world around them from a top down perspective. It offers a nice visual flair.

Fighting Fantasy Legends hasn’t got a firm release date just yet, but will launch in summer this year on Google Play.
